Meet Alani Leora Dsouza, a talented young vocalist born on February 9, 2015. Alani discovered her love for music at the age of 4. At just 8 years old, she made history as the youngest child artist to perform a full-hour live show on Daijiworld TV, singing 7 songs and sharing her passion for music in an interview.

In addition to this remarkable achievement, Alani has graced the stage in over 30 live performances, captivating audiences with her soulful voice and magnetic presence. Notably, she has been honored with a cash prize sponsored by ‘Mandd Sobhan’ and Kalaangann Chairman, Mr. Ronald Mendonca, for her unique presentation of the Konkani Movie ‘Osmitay’ song ‘Monan Monan’ cover version. This rendition gained widespread acclaim on social media, earning her well deserved compliments.

Recognizing her exceptional musical talents, Alani received the Rotary Rising Star Award 2023 from Rtn. HR Keshav, District Governor of RI Dist 3181. This award not only acknowledges her musical achievements but also highlights her contribution to brightening the world of music.

Currently a student at Carmel Central School, Moodbidri, Alani also attends Welthas School of Music, Mangalore, where she is pursuing Piano and Violin. Balancing her education with her musical pursuits, Alani is dedicated to honing her skills.

Besides her school and music classes, Alani aspires to become a music teacher. She envisions sharing her passion for music with future generations, nurturing young talents to express themselves through the art of sound.

Alani has her own music channel on social media, where she shares her singing performances. Maintained by her father, the channel has gained a significant following, especially among Konkani music enthusiasts.
